Admission: Free and open to the public
Join the City of New Haven in honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Two traditional ceremonies and wreath-layings will take place, rain or shine.
At 1:00 p.m., a ceremony will be held at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park, featuring remarks by Senior Chief Petty Officer James Hatch (Ret), a former Navy SEAL and founder of Spike’s K9 Fund.
At 3:00 p.m., a second ceremony will be held on the New Haven Green. Lt. Col. Joseph Danao (Ret), Deputy Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs, will speak, along with remarks from New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker.
All are welcome to attend and pay tribute.
