FatFace
Introduced in 1988, founders Tim Slade and Jules Leaver began FatFace by selling sweatshirts and T-shirts out of their campervan on a skiing trip at La Face, Val d’lsere — a popular ski mountain in France with La Face being the inspiration for the brand’s name. They opened their first retail store in 1992 in southwest London. By 2016 FatFace had nearly 230 stores and began expanding into the United States.
