Oldest house in Connecticut, this unusual stone building was constructed in 1639 for Henry Whitfield, religious leader of the founders of Guilford. Visitor Center has changing exhibits and gift shop. May-October, Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. $8 adults, $6 seniors & students, $5 children (6-17), free for children under 6.
