8th Annual New Haven Chalk Art Festival — Saturday, October 11, 12–4 pm

Stroll the Broadway District to see more than 60 artists
transform sidewalks and streets into vibrant works of art, enjoy live music
from The RumRunners, and bring the kids for free activities in the Family Fun
Zone—including chalk art lessons with The Giggling Pig New Haven, crafts, and
face painting.

Guests can also enjoy exclusive shopping offers, $0.99 and
$1.99 dining deals, plus complimentary kettle corn and Italian ice.

Free parking is available at the 150 York Street Garage with
event validation.

Artists will compete for more than $2,800 in prizes, with
categories for professionals, amateurs, teens, and groups. Visitors can cast
their votes in the People’s Choice Awards for a chance to win one of five $50
restaurant gift cards just for voting! The festival is free and open to all,
with festivities taking place on Broadway Island, Elm Street in front of Maison
B Café, and in the courtyard behind Apple and Sherkaan Indian Street Food.
