The upcoming celebration in New Haven will showcase the cultural, political and intellectual threads of migration in America. The festival will include performances by Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Samara Joy and the Ebony Hillbillies. Circus performers, including Montreal-based troupe The 7 Fingers and The Red Trouser Show! Circus, will also be part of the festival. The ideas track of the festival will focus on climate change and its impact on migration, featuring talks by author Amy Tan and marine biologist Ayana Elizabeth Johnson.
