When 3,000 British invaded New Haven in 1779, 19 patriots defended the site preventing them a direct route to downtown, forcing them to land at Lighthouse Point and West Haven to face a 5 mile long fight to downtown. Free/donations accepted. Daily May-Labor Day, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
