New Haven Preservation Trust

Founded in 1961, this year the New Haven Preservation Trust turns sixty years old. We will celebrate the Trust’s anniversary online and, we hope, in person later in the year.
Historic buildings and streetscapes tell us how our predecessors understood their environment. Today communities engage that inheritance in ways that reflect contemporary concerns and realities. Whether we honor, adapt or challenge the buildings of the past, we are surely enriched by their presence.
