Woolsey Hall

Woolsey Hall, a 2,650-seat concert auditorium, was constructed in 1901 for Yale University’s bicentennial. It is situated at the corner of College and Grove Streets in New Haven and is commonly used for official university functions. The hall is the main performance venue for various music groups. The groups include the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the Yale Symphony Orchestra and smaller student-run ensembles like the Whiffenpoofs.
