Closer to Free Ride 2024

Join us on September 9th for the 13th Annual Closer to Free Ride. We are counting on your participation to support research and care at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center. Whether you are an experienced rider or just starting out, you can choose from five professionally-designed routes, ranging from 10 to 100 miles long. Even if you are not in the New Haven area, you can still be part of our community by riding your own route wherever you are. Let’s work together to make a difference!

On September 7, 2024, we’ll ride together in the 14th Annual Closer to Free Ride. And we need you with us. The Ride fuels research and care at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center while giving riders of all levels the chance to experience five professionally designed and fully supported routes ranging from 10 to 100 miles long. If you’re not in the New Haven area, you can join our community remotely and ride your own route wherever you may be.
