North Branford Potato & Corn Festival 2024

Did you know that the lovely residents of North Branford have an amazing festival every first weekend of August? It’s all about celebrating the delicious and often overlooked staples of corn and potatoes. Despite being a quiet farm town, the Potato and Corn Festival now attracts tens of thousands of visitors! The former Augur Farm on Rt. 22 transforms into a lively midway with rides, craft vendors, food vendors, and various contests such as corn shucking and potato sack races. Visitors can also enjoy tractor pulls, classic car shows, and live performances from local and far-flung bands.

From New Haven: Take I-91 North to exit 8. Turn right onto Rt. 80 East and follow for 4.8 miles. Turn left onto Rt. 22 West and follow for 1.5 miles. The entrance is on the left.

From Hartford: Take I-91 South to exit 14 (East Center Street).Turn left onto East Center Street and follow for .7 miles. Turn right on to Northford Road and follow for 1.9 miles. Continue onto Woods Hole Road for .4 miles. Bear right onto Rt. 17 for 1.5 miles. Bear left onto Rt. 22 East for 2.8 miles. Entrance is on the right.
