CURRENT, featuring 49 guest artists in addition to 20 KLG members.
PROSPECTUS:
cur·rent /ˈkərənt/: belonging to the present time; happening or being used or done now, actively moving in a
recognizable stream or direction, either figurately or literally.Today’s art scene is dynamic, multifaceted, and heavily
influenced by technology, social issues, and global interconnectedness leading to a wide variety of definitions and
approaches. As a creator, how do you define current?

Opening Reception: Sunday, January 11, 2-5pm, Awards announced at 3pm
Closing Reception: Sunday, February 1, 3-5pm with People’s Choice award at 4:30pm

Kehler Liddell Gallery (KLG) is a cooperative gallery in the heart of New Haven’s Westville village representing
22 of the area’s most notable emerging and established artists. Established in 2003, KLG is one of New Haven’s
longest running retail galleries to date. All of the artists are juried into membership. Monthly exhibitions are
highlighted by free community arts programming. The gallery is free and open to the public.
