Father Salar Kajo is a priest of the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of
Alqosh in Iraq. He was ordained in 2007 and, in 2015, earned a PhD from the
Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome. Father Salar has been a professor at the
Eastern Pontifical Institute in Rome as well as the Pontifical College of
Babylon for Philosophy and Theology in Iraq. He is currently a research scholar
in the Department of Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio.

Father John Hayi
Ferdinand was ordained a
priest of the Diocese of Yola in Nigeria, in 2010. He served in parish ministry
and diocesan health coordinator as well as a chaplain to various Catholic
organizations. Father Ferdinand has been an advocate for peace, engaging in
dialogue with area Muslims and the local government. He is pursuing a Master of
Arts degree in Christian Ministry at Franciscan University of Steubenville in
Ohio.

This program is being held in
conjunction with McGivney Pilgrimage Center’s current temporary exhibition
“Among the Persecuted and Displaced: Photographs from Iraq & Nigeria.” The
exhibition is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm with free parking
