St. Andrew Society Annual Festa

The St. Andrew Apostle Society will proudly host its 126th Anniversary Italian Festa from Thursday, June 25, through Sunday, June 28, at the Society grounds located at 515 Chapel Street in New Haven’s Historic Wooster Square.

This celebration honors our Amalfi Coast heritage, Italian-American traditions, and the enduring spirit of the New Haven community. Notably, the Feast of St. Andrew is now the only remaining traditional Italian festival in the Greater New Haven area — making this year’s milestone celebration especially meaningful.

For more than a century, the Festa has brought together generations of families, friends, and visitors from all backgrounds to celebrate Italian culture, reconnect with the Wooster Square community, and preserve traditions passed down from our Amalfitani ancestors.

As the festival approaches, Wooster Square comes alive with glowing arches, music, dancing, sizzling sausage, fried dough, peaches marinating in red wine, and the unmistakable energy that has defined this beloved event for 126 years.
