Since its inception in 1966, Yale Repertory Theatre has been a leading professional theatre at the David Geffen School of Drama, recognized for premiering over 100 new works, including two Pulitzer Prize-winning plays and four nominees. It has seen 17 of its productions move to Broadway, earning over 40 Tony Award nominations and winning 10, alongside receiving a Tony for Outstanding Regional Theatre. Founded in 2008, the Binger Center for New Theatre at Yale has become a significant force in developing new plays, supporting over 70 artists and facilitating the debut and nationwide production of more than 30 new plays and musicals.
