The Yale Symphony Orchestra (YSO) was founded in 1965 and is recognized as one of the leading undergraduate orchestras in the United States. The faculty-led ensemble presents 6 concerts each academic year, both on and off campus. The concerts are live-streamed to a global audience of around 7,000 people and are also attended by a live audience at Woolsey Hall.
